
Leyla Azmoun, M.D. lived on the East Coast for many years before moving to Fresno in 1999. She received her BA in biochemistry from Cornell University in 1988 and then attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston where she received her M.D. in 1992. Dr. Azmoun's internship in internal medicine was at Faulkner Hospital in Boston. Both her Diagnostic radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship were at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, the major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. She also spent six months of her fellowship at Children’s Hospital in Boston for additional training in pediatric neuroradiology.
Dr. Azmoun is board certified in both diagnostic radiology and in neuroradiology, which is her subspecialty.
Dr. Azmoun has a 14 year old daughter and a 10 year-old son. When not practicing radiology, she enjoys spending time with her family.
